Biography
The Commission on the Future of IIT was initially covened in late 1975 by IIT President Thomas L. Martin as a collection of 11 task forces assigned different aspects of IIT to study, with a report planning the future of the university delivered in September, 1976. The Commission was again convened by Martin in 1985 (COMFIIT 85), with recommendations delievered in 1986.
