Biography

Aaron Siskind (1903-1991) served on the faculty of the Institute of Design in the photography department from 1951-1971. His areas of specialization included abstract expressionism and social documentary. Siskind taught a class project to document the work of Louis Sullivan in Chicago from 1952-1954.
