Abstract A nuclear reactor was built in 1956 by North American Aviation, Inc. for Armour Research Foundation on the campus of Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago. The reactor was located in ARF's Physics & Electrical Engineering Research Building (aka, PER Building).
