The New Student Record was a student directory with black & white head-shot photos of new students. Listed alphabetically, the student's name, nickname, hometown (and street address if local), academic major and hobbies are included. Additional pages include brief information about student organizations, the academic calendar, and building and program directory information. Alternate titles in other years include: Freshman Register, Freshman Directory, New Student Register.

Documentation of student activities organized and/or coordinated by the IIT Department of Campus Life and its predecessors (e.g. Student Life), including the following: 1) Two videotapes of "IIT's first annual talent show," April 30, 1999, in Hermann Hall, hosted by Emery Jordan and Joe McMillan (one tape contains the first half of the program while the second tape contains the other half).
