Scope and Contents
Faculty members wrote most of the articles in this subseries; a few of the articles were written by outside parties, but they mention the faculty member. Jay Doblin and Charles Owen produced the most articles in this series. Box 392, Folder 20 features a design Jay Doblin created for a Gillette razor while he was working for Raymond Loewy Associates. Though Loewy did not act as professor at ID, Box 393, Folder 1 contains a volume of “Architecture and Design” devoted to him. Not included in this subseries are volumes of Visible Language, a publication edited by faculty member Sharon Poggenpohl. These volumes have been catalogued as published materials in the library.
