Galvin Library, 1964-1985

Materials on the Paul V. Galvin Library at IIT. Items include a clipped photo from the 1964 Integral, showing a group of students posing around the fountain that then stood in front of the library building; a clipped photo from the 1967-68 Bulletin showing the library's reserve books counter; two B&W (8" x 10") photos of the building exterior; a B&W 35mm negative strip of scenes inside the library; a photographic print of an artist's conception of the library (apparently pre-construction) and a 1985 clipping from the New York Times covering the controversty over Robert Nevel's addition of a canopy to the building.
