Visual Design, 1948-2001

In addition to smaller (4 x 5") prints and negatives of 2-D, 3-D, and exhibit display assignments, this subseries includes some small visual design projects and some works by Laura Volkerding, Blanche Camden, and a joint piece by Ellen Weldon and Kathy Lay from 1968. Lay created graphics and Weldon wrote poetry for this published piece of design, featuring additional text from the King James Bible. Boxes 303-305 contain small, square, 3-D collages made of tacks, paper, and textured materials. A very large portfolio of zoo animal designs and drawings is stored separately in IIT Archives' oversize storage space (on IIT campus in building 3424).
