IIT Independent Press collection, 1968-1969
IIT Independent Press, was a student-produced radical newspaper of the 1960s. "Published monthly by Jericho Publications Inc. ...Staff: Charles Peters; Bill Bolton; Charles Erdell; Andre Souffront" (per Vol. 2 , No. 1). Topics covered include IIT Black Student Organization, urban renewal, and faculty member Max Primack. Collection contains 2 copies of the October 1968 issue (vol 1, no. 2) and the March 1969 issue (vol. 2, no. 1). (1)
Technology News slide collection, 1955-1960
35 mm slides apparently produced by or acquired by Illinois Tech students for use in Technology News, the student newspaper. Images document people, buildings, and activities at Illinois Institute of Technology. Slides were found in boxes as shown in the index; slides have been transferred to 3-ring binders as follows: Vol. 1 contains boxes 1 and 2 Vol. 2 contains boxes 3 and 4 Vol. 3 contains boxes 5 and 6.

The Southerner collection, 1977
One issue of The Southerner, a self-identified literary publication of South Wing Association of Residents (SWAR), a student organization of Illinois Institute of Technology. Janice Neff served as president of SWAR in 1977. George Davis served as editor-in-chief of the publication. Note that the publication is identified as "a semester publication," but this may be the only issue produced.
Invoke collection, 2003
2003 Spring issue of Invoke, a 20-page student-produced publication "exclusively meant to showcase the creativity of the students here at Illinois Institute of Technology." Contains reproductions (in color) of art works, architectural drawings, poems, and essays. May be the only issue published.

The New Student Record was a student directory with black & white head-shot photos of new students. Listed alphabetically, the student's name, nickname, hometown (and street address if local), academic major and hobbies are included. Additional pages include brief information about student organizations, the academic calendar, and building and program directory information. Alternate titles in other years include: Freshman Register, Freshman Directory, New Student Register.
