Black and white with sound (music and narration), ca. 15 minutes. Film content is scenes of candid shots of Chicago people, transportation, buildings, and streets during early morning normal routine. Scenes are cued to either the narration, which is possibly an original prose poem in the style of Carl Sandburg's "Hog Butcher for the World," or cued to music, including an unidentified drum solo and a folk song about Illinois.
