Biographical Note
Part of the Engineering, Science, and Management War Training course offered at IIT in partnership with a federal program during WWII. These free, part time courses were open to the public. The Signal Corps program was apparently later incorporated into the degree in Communications Engineering offered through the Electrical Engineering department. Jesse E. Hobson was director of Signal Corps Training.
