Lewis Department of Humanities Student and Departmental records, 1949-1995
Student files from the Lewis Department of Humanities, containing copies of correspondence with students regarding their application status, grades, graduation status, and notices of departmental meetings. Also present in student files are copies of letters sent by faculty members to other university offices (e.g. Bursar, Dean) on behalf of the students (re. waivers of fees and/or graduation requirements). Also present are a few files on departmental faculty members, largely regarding departmental support for research projects. Also included are blue books and typescripts of students' writing samples and proficiency exams, ca. 2000-2001.
