As of Jan. 1999, the Main Campus Faculty Council is formed of representatives chosen by the academic departments based at the main campus. There are ca. 17 Council members with larger departments having multiple representatives. The Council holds regular monthly meetings, usually the first Wed. of the month. In addition to the Main Campus Faculty Council, there is also a Downtown Campus Faculty Council and a University Faculty Council. The member of the latter come, in general, from the other two Councils.
