IIT Challenge Campaign posters, 1997
Six oversize posters (24"x36" and 26"x36") mounted on foam core promoting the IIT Challenge Campaign. Three posters feature head shots of faculty and students: one reading "Brain Gain" shows eight individuals (including Leon Lederman, Sanjida Chowdhury, and Matt Marcus), one shows student Sanjida Chowdhury, one shows student Matt Marcus. The other three posters are a set titled Accelerating Pace of Progress 1993-1997 with a timeline featuring the National Commission for IIT, Neighborhood Planning (1993), Profession Master's Program (1994), Interprofessional Projects (IPROS), International Initiative (1995), Campus Master Plan, Camras/NEXT and Heald Scholars, $120 million Galvin/Pritzker Challenge Grant (1996), and IIT Challenge (1997). The posters were produced from visual materials created to promote the campaign and used in various IIT publications.

Biographical / Historical
The IIT Challenge Campaign was begin in 1997 with a $120,000 matching grant pledge by IIT Trustees Robert Galvin and Robert Pritzker.
Custodial History
The posters previously hung in the President’s conference room in IIT Tower building, except for the one featuring six individuals.
