Biographical Note
Dr. Sohair W. Elbaz was named acting director of Galvin Library ca. Nov. 1991, having previously served as information researcher in IIT's Center for the Study of Ethics in the Professions. She was later given the permanent appointment with a title of Director of the Libraries. On June 1, 2000 she was promoted to Dean of Libraries.
