Kevin P. Harrington Papers, 1978-2010

Papers of Dr. Kevin Harrington, Professor of Art and Architectural History at IIT in the Humanities Department, Beginning at IIT in 1978 as an Instructor, he attained the rank of full Professor by his retirement in 2010. The collection documents those years and include instructional material (syllabi, lecture notes, etc.) as well as correspondence with other scholars in his field and documents of topical interest to him. Also present are posters from various art and architecture exhibitions (international); oversized art prints; 35mm slides used in instruction; and architectural fragments found on the grounds of IIT from its early period as the Armour Institute of Technology (the Armour Mission and the Armour Flats in particular).
