2) Sam Pitroda, IIT alumnus (MS, Electrical Engineering, 1966) and chairman of WorldTel, Inc. Pitroda (born ca. 1942). Topic: Biographical background and leadership. Nov. 21, 2002, 60 minutes.

Biographical Note
The IIT Thought Leaders Seminar series, which was initiated in 2001, was sponsored by the university's Ed Kaplan Entrepreneurial Studies Program and the Leadership Academy, housed in IIT's Stuart School of Business. The Seminar sponsored notable Chief Executive Officer level (or equivalent) speakers who delivered lectures on innovation and leadership for IIT students, alumni, faculty, staff, and interested friends of the university. Starting in 2004, two of the four annual series sessions were held in conjunction with the IPRO Day activities on campus.
