Language in Action

Language in Action by S. I. Hayakawa. Copy of the second draft edition, copyright 1940, published as a softcover, spiral bound book by the Institute of General Semantics, 106 pages, printed on one side only in typescript format. The book is autographed on title page by S. I. Hayakawa with Sept. 26, 1980 date appended. This edition was used by Hayakawa as a text book for his classes; this copy belonged to Hayakawa's student, Robert Bonthron. Also, two mimeographed pages found inside the book with hand-written notes on the reverse sides, probably class handouts. This item is in Galvin Library's catalog.
