Golden Society Reunion videos, 2012-2013
The collection includes video of the Golden Society Reunion Luncheon of September 22, 2012, and September 28, 2013. The 2012 luncheon was held in Hermann Hall. Speakers at this particular dinner included Betsy Hughes and John Anderson, as well as Ray Van Horn, a representative of the class of 1962, and Robert Bonthron, a retired IIT administrator and faculty member. The second disc contains video of the Golden Society Reunion luncheon of September 28, 2013, held in Hermann Hall. IIT Vice President Betsy Hughes served as emcee, with assistance from IIT President John Anderson. Members of the class of 1963 were inducted into the Golden Society on this occasion, and those in attendence were given medallions on ribbons to wear. The group was addressed by Martin Jischke, their class president. Jischke also presented the university with a $100,000 check, representing fundraising by himself and his classmates, to establish the "IIT Class of 1963 Endowed Scholarship."
