Moholy-Nagy photographs, 1946
Two portrait photographs (black and white; 6 x6" images on 8 x 10" stock) of Laszlo; Moholy-Nagy taken for the cover of Time magazine Feb. 14, 1946 by Vorhies Fisher. Reprinted from the original negatives in 1999. Both show the subject seated with images of his artworks mounted behind him: one with his oil on canvas painting "Nuclear II" and reading a catalogue titled "Gropius"; the other with a hanging sculpture and prints. The images were taken at the Institute of Design location at 632 N. Dearborn St., Chicago.
