Darsh T. Wasan papers, 1969-1999
Papers pertaining to Darsh T. Wasan (b. 1938) collected by Illinois Institute of Technology's Public Relations Department for its series of biographical files on faculty members. The papers include: various editions of Wasan's Curriculum Vitae, copies of IIT Press Releases pertaining to Wasan, copies of Wasan inter-office memos with Public Relations, articles and writings, press clippings, and miscellaneous biographical materials on Wasan. The collection also includes papers related to the "Efficiency of Fibrous Bed Coalescers Project" (a U.S. Department of the Interior research and development grant of which Wasan was a co-director, 1968-70), and photographs of Wasan, including B&W and color prints, negatives, and contact sheets.

Biographical Note
Darsh T. Wasan (b. 1938) is the Motorola Chair Professor of Chemical Engineering and Vice President for International Affairs at Illinois Institute of Technology. Wasan was hired as an instructor in Chemical Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1964 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 1967 and full professor in 1971; other significant appointments included department chairman (1971-87), Vice President for Research and Technology (1988-91), Provost and Academic Vice President (1991-1995), Provost and Senior Vice President (1994-96), and Vice President and Motorola Chair (from 1996).
