Biographical Note
Marvin E. Newman (b. 1927) is a 1952 Institute of Design graduate, one of three students who received a Master of Science degree in Photography, the first year the degree was awarded. Newman studied with Harry Callahan and Aaron Siskind, and has worked for or had his works published by Sports Illustrated, Life, Look, Newsweek, and Smithsonian.
