Scope and Contents
Ledger book containing names, ages, addresses, and grades received by students taking the entrance exams for Armour Scientific Academy. Exams were in arithmetic, history and English. A copy of the 1898 U. S. history exam questions is included. Note that the name of Mary F. Gunsaulus (possibly a relative of the AIT's founder) is recorded for June 1898. One page appears to be missing at beginning of book.

Miscellaneous items generated or collected by Helen Stevens who was a faculty member at Illinois Institute of Technology in the 1950s in the Language, Literature, and Philosophy Department. Materials include fragmentary academic papers from her classes, including quizzes, teacher evaluations, class notes, and memos.
