Fuller, Jr. The collection includes a selection of unmounted black & white images (contact sheets and 8 x 10" prints) apparently taken by Fuller, perhaps as assignments for classes taught by Aaron Siskind and/or Arthur Siegel. Description of the Collection

Collection represents the majority of work created by David Anderson while a student at the Institute of Design, circa 1959-1963. A small amount of the material, primarily series 2 and series 53, represent professional work and work by other designers.

Scope and Contents

Records from the Institute of Design, Illinois Institute of Technology, from the period when Patrick Whitney was Dean. The collection consists almost entirely of student work--almost all of which (in turn) is from course ID 592, Research and Documentation Projects. The remainder of the collection consists of syllabi for ID courses amd miscellaneous administrative files.

Abstract This collection is one of three primary collections which document the activities of Institute of Design, IIT's School of Design. The three collections represents official records of the school created and saved as administrative records of the school. The three collections are Acc. No. 1998.031, Acc. Content Description Photographic prints, including prints made by Nathan Lerner of photographs from his time as an Institute of Design student and faculty member, as well as collaborative photographs with Henry Holmes Smith printed by Smith's son, Theodore R.M. Smith. Also included are 12 oversized reprints from a Chicago Cultural Center exhibit of Lerner's work and a single print of a photograph by Institute of Design alumnus Ishimoto Yasuhiro.
