Hallett Movers (Summit, Ill.)

Description of the Collection 16 mm B&W silent film (3 minutes long) of the move of the Crerar Library collection from its Chicago Loop location to the campus of Illinois Institute of Technology in September 14, 1962 by (Jack) Hallett & Sons Movers. Shows images of trucks being loaded, exterior of Crerar Kemper Library (IIT's campus),and movers replacing shelves loaded with books on the uprights.
