Henry's Statements on Her Work and Life, 1973-2001
Content description from Suzanne Rahn's inventory of the archive: MH's Statements and her art and life: Notes: Most of these are undated, and there is a good deal of repetition. Included are three drafts of a letter she wrote to Jane Beebe of PDX Gallery in Portland, introducing herself and her work. JB agreed to represent her, and did so until MH's death. A less successful introductory letter (draft) was written to "Tiffani" at San Francisco's De Young Museum. Nothing came of it. Yet another (partial) draft was written to Linda Cannon at the time of MH's decision to leave LC's gallery in Seattle for the new Meyerson-Nowinski Gallery. LC did not take this kindly.
