Journal articles and tear sheets, particularly by or about Barry Byrne are also included, as is a photograph by John Gass of a house designed by Byrne. Of particular note is Dearstyne's correspondence with (Jace) Jacques Brownson, Barry Byrne (1937-1963) and others. Sally A. Chappell's name appears frequently in Byrne materials.

Two items related to the memorial service held in Crown Hall at Illinois Institute of Technology (Chicago) for architect Myron Goldsmith, Oct. 19, 1996: the printed program includes a short biography; a 30-page "in memoriam" type booklet, edited by David C. Sharpe, includes numerous tributes to Goldsmith by friends and colleagues. The booklet also includes the text of obituaries published by various media sources.
