Academic hood, 1954
Academic hood for Doctor of Engineering degree, Illinois Institute of Technology. Hood was made by E. R. Moor Co. and is in original packaging. Identified as "Extra" and "No. 90." Made of black silk shell with orange velvet hood trim (for Doctor of Engineering) and IIT's red and gray lining.
The hood was sent to architect William S. Ralph of Beloit, Wisconsin and returned to IIT by the same.
