Letter, Laszlo Moholy-Nagy to Frederick J. Kiesler, 1944

 Collection
Identifier: 008.02.05
Description of the Collection

Three paragraph letter dated Dec. 15, 1944 from Laszlo Moholy-Nagy to Frederick J. Kiesler expressing regrets that he (Kiesler) "Cannot come now" and inviting him to come in May. Context of the invitation is unknown. NOTE: Per an inquiry in July 2004 from Harald Krejci of the Kiesler Foundation in Vienna, Kiesler was invited for a lecture on his theory "biotechniques and correalism" in the 1930s or 1940s. The letter probably refers to that lecture invitation.
