General

According to Richard T. Smith, "I had some great professors there including [Karl] Menger, Gordon Pall, [Arnold G.] Meister, Fritz Richter, the head of language/English department who taught me German in one semester, W. A. Lewis, and Eric Gross. The Electrical Engineering graduate students included many who made significant contributions partly because the Electrical Engineering graduate power program was the best in the country at that time."
