Biographical Note

The National Center for Food Safety and Technology (NCFST) is a research collaboration between the FDA, IIT and private food industry established in 1988 to bring academia, industry and the FDA to promote and carry out research in the areas of food safety. It also grants master's and certificate programs in Food Processing Engineering and Food Safety and Technology, as well as certification for Food Processing Specialists.
