W. Ronald Johnson papers, 1952-1956
Items created or collected by W. Ronald (Ron) Johnson covering his years as a student at Illinois Institute of Technology. Includes 36 2" x 2" photographs, including 29 taken at the Ansul Chemical Company in Marietta, Wisconsin in 1955, documenting a class held for the senior class of the Fire Protection Engineering program. Also present are 7 taken at the Underwriters Lab in Northbrook, Illinois for the same program (at the latter site, testing rubber tire storage fires). The collection also includes printed material related to social and academic activity during Johnson's time at IIT.

Biographical Note
W. Ronald Johnson attended IIT in the Fire Protection Engineering Program from 1951 - 1955. Johnson was a member of the wrestling team and of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. Currently (2002), he is retired and lives in Florida where he enjoys working part-time at the Daytona International Speedway.
