This collection contains items related to Carl Stoneham's graduation from Chicago-Kent College of Law: Two coasters with image of Chicago-Kent building at 10 N. Franklin St., Chicago; Feb. 12, 1969 commencement invitation, name card, and program; 1955 uniform law citation guide; 1963-64 Chicago-Kent annual announcement (i.e., academic catalog) (includes exterior and interior photos of 10 N. Franklin building); Stoneham's diploma (Juris Doctor, 1969); ABA certificate; State of Illinois law certificate; Phi Delta Phi membership certificate; tassel; commencement class group photograph (Feb. 12, 1969; Stoneham is in the middle row, 2nd from left with glasses); Cook County law license. Also added to the collection (received from same donor October 2005), a box made to look like a false book reading "Illinois Reports, [Vol.] 17 2d, 2d Series, 1960" on the spine. The "book" is hollow and according to the donor "...was given to me by the sec't of the probates (?) [of the Illinois Supreme Court] - Mr. Cork. I understand he gave it to the judges to keep on their desk for securing a secret drink now and then."

Biographical Note
Carl B. Stoneham was a graduate of the Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1969. After graduation, he was admitted into the American Bar Association. He was also a member of the international legal fraternity Phi Delta Phi.
