Mies & Modernism: The IIT Campus Tour, a 57-page tour training manual for docents who provide walking tours of the Illinois Institute of Technology campus. The manual has general information about Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, the architecture program at IIT, the campus master plan and landscaping, as well as detailed architectural information about specific buildings. Also included is information about architects other than Mies who designed IIT buildings, campus outdoor sculptures, a bibliography, and partial list of graduates of the IIT architecture program. Developed for Chicago Architecture Foundation by Dan Fitzgerald, June, 2001; version 3.0; Copyright Chicago Architecture Foundation, 2001. Copy is autographed by Fitzgerald. The first tour was conducted April 18, 2001.
