Bertrand Goldberg video, 1997
Video tape of lecture titled "The Ghost Walks" by Bertrand Goldberg given as part of the IIT College of Architecture lecture series on April 2, 1997 in Crown Hall. This was the first of two lectures by Goldberg. Goldberg is introduced by Donna Robertson who presents his professional biographical background. Architecture student Sarah Whiting introduces the lecture series. Goldberg presents an evaluation of architectural Modernism through his view in three sections: Modernism in the 20th century and Philip Johnson, the development period having begun 300 years prior, and his personal experience of Modernism.

Biographical Note
Bertrand Goldberg, noted American architect, who studied at the Bauhaus, designed Marina Towers (1962) as the first multi-use residential high rise in Chicago. Goldberg studied briefly at Armour Institute of Technology Sept. 1933 - Jan. 1934.
