Biographical / Historical
The Sydney Teller collection of metal artifacts was on exhibit at Perlstein Hall for many years circa the 1960s. Teller, a Chicago philanthropist, began collecting copper, bronze, and brass artifacts from around the world beginning in 1910. His collection included about 2,500 items. The collection was deaccessioned in 2008.
