This building was designed by Henry Ives Cobb, though drawing is not so marked. The drawings include the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors as well as the Basement and Mezzanine.

This set of drawings is the 100% Design Development drawings dated Dec. 10, 1999 and Feb. 18, 2000.

Plat map of Block 4 in Ashland's 2nd Addition, ca. 1903
This plat map of Block 4 in Ashland's 2nd Addition is bounded by Winchester, Monroe, Robey, and Madison Streets. The map is marked "Shaded portion indicates proposed structure," and it is stamped: "Building Dept. City of Chicago Approved May [illeg.]." The proposed structure is probably the Engineering Building, built in 1903.

"Track 4" is marked "Lewis Institute" with the 1951 W. Madison St. address. The two maps included here are identical, save for "Mr. Mowat, West 0791" marked on copy 2.
