Biography
The Mies van der Rohe Society was launched Nov. 19, 2002 by Illinois Institute of Technology and dedicated to the renewal and preservation of Illinois Tech's historic campus. The Society is designed to raise funds for the renovation of the university's Mies-designed academic buildings beginning with S.R. Crown Hall, Wishnick Hall, and Carr Chapel. Justine Jentes served as the Society's founding director until June 2013.

Transcripts of two interviews conducted under the auspices of The Mies van der Rohe Society at Illinois Institute of Technology. Dirk Lohan, IIT Trustee and grandson of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, was interviewed by Betsy Hughes and Phil Rozen of IIT and Christopher Robling of Jayne Thompson and Associates.
