Institute of Design student work by Alvin Loginsky. Louis Sullivan documentary project photographs are present, as well as interior and exterior photographs of substandard housing units, probably on Chicago's near South Side. Includes one image of Aaron Siskind, and three from Chicago's Ukrainian Village.

Description of the Collection

One issue of "Arts & Architecture" being the March 1952 issue (Vol. 69, No. 3) with cover article "Mies Van der Rohe" (pp. 16-31). The article includes photographs by Institute of Design photographers: Felipe B. Chano (cover image), John Klukaszewski, Al Loginsky. The magazine also includes a two-page article by Hugo Weber, "Vision In Flux," (pp.32-33) with photogrpahs by Harry Callahan.

Description of the Collection DVD of the roundtable discussion held on June 14, 2008 in Crown Hall, regarding Crombie Taylor, Aaron Siskind, and the Adler and Sullivan Project. Speakers were Jeffrey Plank, Alvin Loginsky, and Len Gittleman.
