Video tape of presentation, "Untethering the Internet," delivered by Marty Cooper at the IIT AlumniFest 2000 program on Oct. 6, 2000 in which he discusses his newest innovation, I-BURST, a personal broadband access, representing the third generation of cellular internet access.

Description of the Collection

The Technometer was a monthly news report on the activities of Illinois Institute of Technology and the alumni published nine times during the academic year. This collection includes bound volumes 1-25 of The Technometer as well as miscellaneous loose issues.

Scope and Contents

Materials given to student interviewers by IIT alumni who were being interviewed as part of the Office of Institutional Advancement's Velocity initiative, a three-year initiative to collect first-person alumni stories.
