Office of Marketing and Communications publicity guidelines, 1992-2011
1) A print version of the slide presentation given by Jeanne Hartig, Vice President for Marketing and Communications, under title "IIT Marketing & Communications Welcomes Campus Communicators, September 13, 2011" (given in Hermann Hall). As explained by Hartig in an e-mail to staff under date of August 25, 2011, she was inviting to her presentation "everyone we have identified who has marketing, communications, Web, copyrighting/editorial, creative/design and public relations as part of their responsibilities at IIT. There are about 80 of us who are doing work in these areas--and I thought it might be time that we all got together to know each other and see if we can work together on projects related to marketing and branding IIT.... We also want to share with you some big changes and news from Marketing & Communications, including : 1) meet the staff and check out our new organizational chart; 2) project management software that will make it easier for you to track your jobs; 3) what's new for "IIT Today"; 4) new developments in social media; 5) how we all are presenting IIT to external audiences (the good, bad and omg) and 6) what's coming." 2) Instructive brochure "Media Relations: Getting IIT into print and on the air" with guidelines for mainly faculty about providing public statements or appearing as experts, c.1992
