Also present are the following three-ring binders: Three-ring binders: 1) Highlights, College of Architecture, 1989-1991 by Gene R. Summers, Dean. The report incorporates Summer's article Toward the Education of an Architect, originally printed in Inland Architect for September/October 1990. The essay discusses the Tenets of the College of Architecture and its Tutorial Program. Also present is a document titled Councils of the College of Architecture, August 20, 1990, which discusses the composition and goals of these councils (which cover the areas of accreditation, admissions, architectural computation, curriculum, ethics, exhibition, facilities, graduate school, lecture series, library and archives, planning, publication and communication, staff-faculty-student evaluation, and student life). Gregorsen, addressed to IIT president Lewis Collens and dated November 3, 1993, in which Gregorsen voices concern that the IIT Architecture School has abandoned its practical training in architecture in favor of theoretical investigations; Procedures for Governance of the College of Architecture, 1994; and a list of Architectural Faculty and Support Staff. 3) Documents from the College of Architecture, 1993, in binder with tabs indicating the following subject areas: Resources, Agendas, Finance, W.I.P.
