Biographical Note
George A. O'Brien was admitted to Illinois Institute of Technology in 1942 in the experimental early admission program. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1943 and later returned to IIT to finish his academic program receiving a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 1949.
