Collection of miscellaneous materials relating to the Institute of Design. Abstract
Comments by Hattula Moholy-Nagy in 2007 regarding these recordings describes them as being "of considerable importance and interest to scholars of the Institute of Design and Moholy's cinematic works. Numbers 1, 2, and 4 were used in teaching. Moholy's integration of 'new' literature into the ID curriculum is set forth in Vision in Motion, pp. 292-357. Materials created by the Illinois Institute of Technology Registrar's Office to help track and convert course credits taken by Institute of Design students prior to the school's 1949 merger with IIT. Description of the Collection
Five 8½ x 11" color laser images (made from 35mm Kodachrome slides) of Chicago architecture and markers related to Laszlo Moholy-Nagy and the Institute of Design. The photos were taken in October 2000 by Hattula Moholy-Nagy. The images include:
