Handbooks produced by the Finance Office with instructions to University faculty and staff on reporting purchases to the office and Project Accounting Department. Contains the following: "IIT Purchasing Policy and Procedures Manual" with sample forms in back. c. 1970s, (2 copies); "Handbook for Principal Investigators", 2003.

Content Description From the Collection:

Office files from two of IIT's presidents, Meyer Feldberg (1987-1989) and Lewis Collens (1990-2007). Contents fall into physical series such as correspondence (personal and corporate), fundraising, and events.

Description of the Collection Appears to be grant applications for research projects generated by academic departments (first folders were marked "Admin"). All folders are marked with an "R" - apparently indicating rejected applications. Most are identified with government agencies (NSF, NASA, AEC, AFOSR, ONR, etc.); some have private sector companies noted. Description of the Collection

The URJ: IIT, or "The Undergraduate Research Journal at Illinois Institute of Technology," began as an official student organization in 2011 "through the efforts of IPRO 321 students." The collection consists of bound copies of the Spring 2012 (Abstracts only), Spring 2013, and Spring 2014 issues, as well as digital versions of the Spring 2021 and Spring 2022 issues.
