Commencement ceremonies

Three DVDs of IIT's 2011 commencement cememonies, held on May 14, 2011. 1) Opening Ceremonies; 2) Armour College of Engineering Academic Unit Ceremony; and 3) College of Architecture Commencement Ceremony

Color photos of commencement exercises taken by Chappell Studios. Generally includes 2 x 2¾" (62 mm) proofs of graduates receiving their diplomas with name identified on back of image. Also, images of speakers, stage, guests, processions, etc. Negatives (35mm) and selected 5 x 7" prints are included for some dates.

Office files from two of IIT's presidents, Meyer Feldberg (1987-1989) and Lewis Collens (1990-2007). Contents fall into physical series such as correspondence (personal and corporate), fundraising, and events.

The collection consists of correspondence, memos, reports, and other materials which constitute the administrative files of the of Henry T. Heald in his role as President of Armour Institute of Technology (Chicago), 1937-1940 and as President of Illinois Institute of Technology (Chicago), 1940-1952.
