This collection includes a typed transcript of a September, 2004 interview with George Edson Danforth by three members of the Illinois Institute of Technology staff, Matt Cook, Director of Graham Resource Center, Lorna Shawver and Beth Wittbrodt, from the Illinois Institute of Technology Office of Institutional Advancement. In the interview, Danforth recalls his time as a student under Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and reflects on his career.

Mies Centennial records, 1969-1986
Ludwig Mies van der Rohe was Director of the Department of Architecture at Armour Institute of Technology and Illinois Institute of Technology, 1938 - 1958. A series of events was hosted at IIT during the centennial year 1986 which marked the 100th anniversary of his birth. These Mies van der Rohe Centennial records represent materials created as part of the campus celebration events.
