Act One of the program is titled "Mr. Boder Vanishes" and concerns David Pablo Boder who traveled to post-WW II liberation camps to conduct oral histories (as recorded interviews) with Holocaust survivors. Biographical Note
This American Life is a weekly radio series broadcast on public radio stations. The episode, Before It Had a Name, features David Boder who was a faculty member in the psychology departments at Lewis Institute (predecessor of IIT) and Illinois Institute of Technology (Chicago). Carl Marziali, who researched Boder and wrote the radio script, is a free-lance writer who previously authored an article on Boder for the IIT alumni magazine, Catalyst.
