George Edson Danforth collection, 1944-2005
Materials collected by John Blew that formerly belonged to George Danforth. The collection includes artifacts related to Danforth's time at the Illinois Institute of Technology's College of Architecture, as well as World War II identification tags.
George Edson Danforth interview, 2004
This collection includes a typed transcript of a September, 2004 interview with George Edson Danforth by three members of the Illinois Institute of Technology staff, Matt Cook, Director of Graham Resource Center, Lorna Shawver and Beth Wittbrodt, from the Illinois Institute of Technology Office of Institutional Advancement. In the interview, Danforth recalls his time as a student under Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and reflects on his career.

Files created by Howard Dearstyne concerning his professional activities and fellow architects. The collection bulks with correspondence. Journal articles and tear sheets, particularly by or about Barry Byrne are also included, as is a photograph by John Gass of a house designed by Byrne. Of particular note is Dearstyne's correspondence with (Jace) Jacques Brownson, Barry Byrne (1937-1963) and others. Sally A. Chappell's name appears frequently in Byrne materials.
